STATEMENT
My practice articulates painting and writing as a passage through the mirror, shaped by an attentiveness to dynamics of fluidity. Working with heavily diluted oil paint, I let colour pool, bleed, and dissolve across the surface. Images dissolve into paint, opening a space where interiority and exteriority meet, contaminate, and transform one another. Human, animal, and vegetal figures exist carrying vulnerability, domination, idleness, or care.
My work unfolds within liminal spaces, suspended between reality and imagination, emptiness and excess. I am interested in moments when something quietly shifts, a room of one’s own where the noise of everyday life momentarily recedes. Painting becomes a space of slowness where images hesitate, where something becomes unresolved, quietly haunting. It is my way of responding to a world that accelerates endlessly and increasingly distances us from the living.
